While talking with a friend recently about how I’ve spent the past 15 months intentionally striving to push my limits she asked why my fear of heights is something I felt the need to test (in particular talking about my goal to skydive in the next year). The truth is, if our minds hold us back from the smaller things, then what else is it holding us back from? Start small and prove to yourself that you are in control of your mind and your limiting beliefs are nothing more than an obstacle between you and the life you dream of. As my friend explained that she’s thought about singing in public since she was 6 years old but was too scared, we jumped in the car and headed to the closest karaoke joint where she did it! She proved to herself that she was capable.
