Meet Parker

Concert Lighting Designer, Author,

Mission-Based Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker

When I set out on my post-high school mission to move across the country and go to college, my only real goal was to work in the country music business. I didn't expect my journey to take me to places that I didn't think possible.

My collegiate experience was far from perfect, but it was a time for me to find myself and find my true purpose in life. It’s here that I found out about the concert lighting industry, something I would have never thought of growing up. It's also where I found my mission on this earth, that is, to help others overcome and thrive against all odds.

Upon graduating in 2009, I joined the rest of the world in surviving a deep economic recession. Within months of walking across that stage, I became an unemployed statistic, joining the millions of others, who couldn't even get a job at a fast-food hamburger joint. While I was devastated beyond measure, I never really lost hope. It was the following year that I would get my first full-time job as a concert lighting director. This first full-time job kicked off a journey that lasted over a decade and afforded me the opportunity to work with some of the most prolific artists in the music industry. I'd be in charge of lighting some of the biggest and most high-profile festivals and events in the country. Today, I have beautiful experiences of working on music videos, countless award shows, and so many other projects that the 18-year-old-dreamer version of myself never thought imaginable.

As the Covid-19 Pandemic continues to ravage our world, I have been challenged and blessed with the mission to share my story, pushing hope for all. As with everything, I know what is facing our world is a moment in history and one day will be simply a page in the books we share with our children. My goal is to make sure we are prepared to turn that page when the time comes. My mission is to make sure no-one gives up on the possibilities until then.

I hope you join me.

No matter what life throws your way, you have what it takes to overcome it and come out on the other side bigger, better and stronger than ever before.

You Got This!
